AdvancedMD EHR

A very easy and smooth system of integration with other vendors are very useful and beneficial for us. As running a medical billing business I have to connect with many practices. AdvancedMD helps to integrate with other practice’s emrs without any hassle and has a very smooth review and process for charges.

Their collection module is not very easy and smooth the only thing I don’t link in this system. Every time it duplicate the message when you send it to someone else. If this could be easier than it is a perfect solution for all.

The reports are very useful for our revenue cycle management system. Their AR and patient demographics are very amazing and detailed in information. The scheduling is very easy to make and I can easily see it of daily, weekly and monthly appointments.

Some of patient reporting charts are not very required informative. Like if we have to see the specific time or date or year patient’s data. It cost you some fee which should be free.

The support team is amazing. They really have hired a team of professionals. Their software is very easy to use

Their reporting piece has a room for improvement but overall the software is a total win win without a doubt

Its very user friendly and some of their feature can be easily customized as per your individual needs

I am unable to access most of their reports be it of marketing, Finance, HIPPA etc unless you purchase an additional module

Their Practice management works perfectly fine and time intervals and color code appointment types can all easily be customized.

Templates creation is the hardest. They require alot of training and are very time consuming. They should have been more intuitive

Their templates can be very easily customized but still the number of problems in the software overlap with any good thing

Their billing staff is highly untrained and lack proper knowledge. They are very able to fix issues. Following up is a huge big deal as they never bother

Note template is highly customizable according to our practice specification. There are variety of report templates can be obtained from the data.

The cost of emr is great but the extra add on features needs upgrade which make it little expensive. Though these add on are great to use but certainly increase the monthly expense.

Posting of payments and statement setup is super easy to use. ERA insurance payment is very good. We always get soon. It is a great experience with Advanced MD so far.

The post claims use is very good but the demographic of patients does not auto fill, we have to done it twice.

Claim submission is very easy. Automatically eligibility of claims reduces a lot of workload. Tracking authorization need some improvement.

As compare to other ehr vendors we have used in past we find advancedmd much easier than them. So we don’t have any serious issue right now with our current vendor.

AdvancedMD is very reliable and their customer support is very quick. Creating report is very easy. And pricing is very customizable.

EMR has lack of some features for the strategic thinking. Need some more interface between EMR and PM to work promptly.

Best EMR program. E-prescription is super easy to use. Lab orders, IFax features are very useful and easy to learn. Client support is always friendly and responsive. Patient portal is very innovative and workload reducer.

It required too much clicks between moving one page to another. E-prescription required bunch of extra “OK” buttons. Scanner does not work on all program it specifically work on “Twain”

The system is designed by the keeping doctor’s keen requirement in the mind. All the functions and features are very easy to use and understand.

The customer services is a nightmare. They never get back on time and sometimes a simple issue takes days to solve it. Mostly support persons are not very friendly when answering questions.

There billing services are very efficient and customer support is very good as well. I am running a small practice and it is very suitable with my all clinical and administrative work.

The monthly fee is quite high for the basic emr. If they could reduce it more than it has all those features which a small practice required for a perfect ehr.

Built-in scrubbers are a sight for sore eyes. They effectively remove errors from the claims meaning you have less to worry about.

It is a cloud-based service. Therefore, it can be a tad bit slow. The support team doesn't know the product inside out.

It is very easy to use and training is such an easy task to conduct on this software. The staff loved it since the learning curve isn't that high.

It takes a lot of time to complete workflows with this software. The execution of documentation workflows is real sloppy.

The templates are the only good thing about the software, otherwise it isn't a good product. It is very slow.

The performance is not that great plus there are a lot of clicks as compared to other vendors in the market.

Custom templates are made available to the users. Besides this nothing good comes to my mind. The negatives are so many.

The unscheduled maintenance is really a put off, especially during the night time. Such unscheduled updates take hours to complete.

Training is really easy through the videos which are available through the training library. There are lesser clicks and more productivity.

The Advanced Insight feature should be offered free along with the software. There shouldn't be any extra charges.

Great for billing, helps in tracking payments and claims and the performance of the software is really great.

It isn't that user friendly as it should be. The retrieval of patient notes is really hard; if they go missing.

It is easy to use software, it is cloud-based software, it is easily accessible online from anywhere.

Can barely get ahold of any one then when you do they do not have a solution? send a help ticket wait days or longer. Send an email with a specific question no response.

The product is designed well but it is a complicated product compared to others. The customer support is caring but they just can't fix everything quickly.

It did not go as quickly as the sales process indicated. We needed to stick with it to get this platform to work for us.

We are using Advance MD EHR and it's been great. Very user friendly. Works well with a number of specialties.

We have faced and still facing many issues like System slowness, crashing, etc. I know it was due to growing pains, but it's been frustrating.

AdvancedMD billing software provide easy to use options to clean claims. System is designed in a way to guide novice users to do medical billing easily. And also tracking of payments is easy.

Generally, it’s a good software but it has some issues like when searching for previous claims statuses check and submission report.

AdvancedMD system is little expensive specially for small practices. But they’ve introduced payment plans. They also charge extra for e-prescription.

AdvancedMD software comes with all required features. Their storage system is really secure and accessible from multiple devices. Our training session was well organized and properly conducted.

Although system is user-friendly but some of features are not very easy to perform. Customer support team is good but sometime some issues take more than a week.

very difficult to learn, but once you do you get the hang of it. the PM portion is fairly good to use. after you have spent a good amount of time practicing on it, it isn't all that bad.

It is geared more to general medical billing, rather than being specialty specific. creating notes and charts is not easy though. Took me too long to figure out how to associate previously created notes with current ones of the same patient.

the trainer I spoke to was nice and helpful unfortunately he was not available after go live. Practice management piece is still better than the emr.

their sales team is very pushy and promise you a lot more than they deliver. They never considered my financial constraints and forced me into buying the system which I regret.

It is an extremely hard to use system I have never been so tied up in front of my computer screen before, ever since I got advanced md I have to spend more hours in front of the computer figuring things out for myself because their support team only knows as much as I do.

it is a pretty decent system to use. I like the functionality of it and creating new templates and clinical charting is kind of easy. Their trainers are very good at what they do and make it easy for one to learn how to use it.

Reports unable to print in posting order making balancing harder. In my opinion, not stating this is a fact, just opinion, there technical support doesn't seem to know their software. Too many steps to complete one task. At times it is very confusing. Still haven't gotten anyone to tell me how to post a check.

We went from using a hard drive and doing back ups to the cloud which has been really nice as we can use the product from anywhere.

It is a cloud based system, clinical charting is something that kind of works. Other than that it is very complex and not user friendly.

extremely expensive and not so easy to use. I would not recommend it if you are on a budget. I wish I could extract out our monthly volume reports not only with the appointment type but with the CPT also.
